hmmm..Plympton is one of ten thousand comics you could compare this to..stylistically, you are way off..
Oh come now it's clearly mimmicking or at best referencing Bill Plimpton's style. You know, Bill Plimton, the Oscar winning animator who uses a rough hand-drawn style and employs a nonsensical physical humor in his work.
Shelby, who did this, is a huge Plympton fan. He says any comparison like that is welcome and taken as a huge compliment. Good on ya!
